Client User Guide

intraLCATM is a cloud-based compliance management system that helps employers streamline the immigration sponsorship process for H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 workers. It does this by automating steps in the Labor Condition Application (LCA) submission and compliance process, which include: posting of regulatory notices; creation and management of public access files (PAFs); and tracking and purging of LCA records and PAF files. The intraLCATM client portal allows employers to easily view, update and track all of its PAF files in one place.

Setting the Employer Posting Preferences

Before using intraLCATM to post notice of filing documents, the employer’s posting preferences must be set. The law firm that prepares LCAs on the company’s behalf will either set these preferences for you, or send you an email through the intraLCATM system asking you to select your posting preferences. There are three available posting/notice options:

  1. Intranet Posting: This option allows the law firm to post the notice of filing information directly on your company intranet site, using the intraLCATM widget. If you select this option, an email will be sent with the widget URL, and instructions on installing this widget on your intranet site (Note that for employers who use an intranet site that is hosted by a third party, customization may be needed to install the widget . Please contact [email protected] for more information). You may also select to have the notice posted automatically without approval, unless you reject the notice before a given time of day. If you select the intranet posting option, the notice will automatically be taken down at the end of the 10 day posting period. You will also receive an email confirming that the notice has been taken down.

    1. Manual Post: This option allows the law firm to post the notice of filing information directly on your company intranet site, using the intraLCA widget. If you select this option, an email will be sent with the widget URL, and instructions on installing this widget on your intranet site (Note that for employers who use an intranet site that is hosted by a third party, customization may be needed to install the widget. Please contact [email protected] for more information). The notice will automatically be taken down at the end of the 10 day posting period. You will also receive an email confirming that the notice has been taken down.
    2. Auto Post: This option allows the law firm to notify the client via email when the notice of filing is ready. The client is then asked to review it and inform the law firm once it has been posted.

  2. Hardcopy Posting: With this option, you will receive an automated email each time an LCA is to be filed asking you to approve the LCA, and confirm that you have posted the hardcopy notice of filing manually. The email will contain the notice of filing document, a copy of the LCA and the prevailing wage document. Once you have posted the notice in two conspicuous locations, you can simply press the button in the email which will notify the law firm, and update the intraLCATM system. You will receive an email at the end of the 10 day posting period reminding you to take down the hardcopy notices.

    1. Email to Affected Workers: Employers who choose to send the notice of filing to affected workers may select this option. Each time an LCA is to be filed, an automated email will be sent to you with the notice document, LCA and prevailing wage document. Once the notice has been sent to affected workers, you may press the confirmation button in the automated email.

Approving and Rejecting LCAs and Notice Posting

The intraLCATM system allows you to approve or reject an LCA for filing and notice of filing for posting through an automated email response system. By pressing the “approve” button in the automated email containing the LCA and notice of filing document, you will notify the law firm that the LCA is approved for filing, and confirm that the notice has been posted, or, in the case of automated intranet posting, that the posting may be posted by the intraLCATM system.

Setting the Employer Posting Preferences

When you are ready to start using intraLCATM to manage your LCAs and public access files (PAFs), you can request a user name and password credentials from the law firm that administers your intraLCATM account. If your company administers its own account, these credentials will be provided when sign up for intraLCATM. Use these credentials to login to your employer portal.
